Yup. Not available in my area. :( The OWN channel finder SAYS it's supposed to be #105, but that's CSPAN.

I am so going to combine all of these ideas! And reusing old sheets/blankets is environmentally friendly as well.

Ignore the elephant in the room!

I, too, love the towel holder in #8, and I think it could be DIY'ed with glass vases and some kind of way to hold them.

My bathroom is miniscule and desperately needs to be re-done. This gives me some inspiration!

I love this post! I have books in my bedroom, on my bedside table (a child's roll-top desk), under the table, in front of it.... At night, I can reach over, turn on my little teeny reading light (so I don't wake husband) and plow into a good read until I fall asleep. I switch them out when I've read everything.

Also, as a side note, what makes this great is that you can make your catalog Private, an option I desperately wish was available on Pinterest.

I've just spent two hours on The Fancy and love it! Is it bad that I pinned things I saw on there to my Pinterest?? I did sign up for a Fancy account though because I like the idea of "luxury" items and places, etc... it's much less "Suburban Mom" and much more "Conde Nast Traveler." The challenge will be for the creators of The Fancy to keep it that way. I used it in Firefox without any troubles.

Picture #4: eeehhhh... too much going on. My eyes would hurt if I had to work in there too long. I think the trick to a good-looking patterned floor is simplicity elsewhere. Also, a patterned floor draws the eye downward to what is typically the dirtiest place in the house (did you notice the trap door in the photo with the black and white checkered floor and the butcher-block island?). I wouldn't mind one in a mudroom or on a back porch, but not a main living area where every little bit of dirt or a small thing out of place is going to show up easily.

Lwyrgrl, We have a set like that. Once they are washed and dried, it's fine. The dye stays really well. Wash them with like colors though, and wash in cold.

These are gorgeous! We love having company and our guest room is a little... well... functional. Not pretty. Also, we host Couch Sufers and I'd like to make our accommodation for them a little cushier.

Yellow or orange! The colors in your chairs are nice, but won't brighten up a room if you're after color. A nice bright contrasting color that still matches would be great.

I'm surprised no one mentioned slicing them super thin with a mandolin, brushed with a little olive oil, sprinkled with salt or other tasty herbs and roasted in the oven as chips. SSoooooo good!

The patterns you picked are really brown and the greens don't seem to match compared to that citrusy green the wall is painted. I think the Kirby Lapis would look better and brighter. Or a white canvas, like a Sunbrella fabric, with a black floral/paisley print. You could use citrus-colored pillows and change them out as wanted, making matching cushions for the chairs.

Painting the chairs is a good option and one we used in our kitchen. Get a good enamel so it lasts. Can someone craft you a wooden table top to replace the glass one that would work the same way, or do you have the option of replacing the table altogether for a farm table style?

The ceiling....OOOoooOOO... can I get that in a giant print somewhere? I have a big blank wall on which that would be perfect.

An old fire hose with a tough wire run through the middle might do the trick for a DIY.

Not sure exactly how it waters itself. I would think this would dry out FAST and the owner would have to water every day.

It would be good with salad greens and herbs. Not much else. Nothing of size.

YUM. I've been wanting to make polenta since I ate it in a restaurant and it was soooo fabulous. I've not dared make it at home yet. For this, I will!
