I must say that I've always been a bit bemused why Americans still use cot bumpers and why it has taken them so long to declare them unsafe. Their use here in Australia, along with quilts, has been a big "no-no" for many many years now due to the high SIDS risk with them. Oh well, better late than never I guess.

We bought 2 cheap-ish monitor's and after being frustrated with the limitations and interference of both, we then bought the Oricom Secure500 Digital Baby Monitor and it is BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT! From the parent unit I can see the temp in baby's room, talk to him, play him various lullabys, put on the night light, set an alarm, tell the time, set an alarm if room temp goes too high or too low and so much more - all from my parent unit! I have always wished Oricom did a video monitor and I have just noticed on their website that they've just brought one out so I'm going to have a look at it. Does anyone know what the cute boys shoes in the top photo are? They look like crocs but they are enclosed at the back (as opposed to having the crocs strap) ... what are they and where can you buy from?

What a gorgeous little boys room. Love your style. I noticed the "J" was a gift .... does anyone know where you can buy these letters (or similar)? Great job on a fabulous room!
