Oh, and to add to my comment-- Our fridge only beeps when the temperature gets low--not when the door is left a little bit open. I think... So once, the fridge was beeping even though the door was shut. And this was because the door had been left open earlier and the temperature had gone down sufficiently to cause the beeping sound. My mother has a great new fridge/freezer combo (stainless steel with the freezer drawer on the bottom) that is exactly like that. Actually it isn't too new, must be a couple of years old, but she loves it and used to call it her 'baby.' Anyway, yeah, I knew exactly what you were referring to when I saw the title of this post, "The Mystery Beep." Even though I knew about that feature, I often forget and wonder what the incessant beep is that's emanating from the kitchen. Anyway, at least it's not an annoying sound! I like your description; your place is a work-in-progress and you're waiting to upgrade pieces! Cool! What I like are the blue and green accents, the brick wall of course, monochrome elements above the couch and in the pillows, and the put-together bedroom. I love your place!
