The artwork above the bed looks like the same art from the film 'Stay'... watch it if you haven't. One of my favorite films. Robert's Rooftop View Over Berlin House Tour |

NICE!... I live in the PE Lofts right behind you and have always admired your string lights/patio from afar. Needless to say, I covet your outdoor space like no other. Great job! Christopher & Natalie's Touch of Hollywood Regency Loft House Tour |

I very much agree with the above sentiments.... I don't find the new layout useful at all. I've actually purchased my bed from a LA scavenger post I found here on AT and have often dreamed of being the person who gets paid (I assume) to wander Craigslist for great finds. It is a big tease when you see an item you've been coveting, only to find it (after counting how many pictures in and down then trying to match it up to the actual link that you have to scroll down to get to) that it's in Seattle a mere 1,000+ miles away! at the very least could you put the link directly under the picture once you've clicked on it... I've noticed some posts are like that and find it to be extremely useful. The Daily Scavenger: Western Edition 10.20.2011 |

i'm moving into a new place with neither washer/dryer nor hookups... i've been looking on amazon for portable washer/dryers and looks to be worth the convenience and investment. I live alone and don't think i'll mind pulling it out once a week to do a small load or two... if you have a family, it might not be worth it? but it's fairly inexpensive and will pay for itself with the money i'll be saving from going to the laundromat... just search 'portable washer and dryer' at amazon and you'll find a plethora of items to keep you washing at home... i'm still doing research so i don't want to send you to a specific one but if anyone out there has used these let me know! i love it... but... a design team did the work? while it's still a beautiful space it kind of takes away from the idea of what I thought this site/contest was about. kinda like entering a photo contest with a professional photographer's photo... Anna & AJ's Eco Loft |

i also moved into a loft just before summer and in my bedroom area i used two large(ish) armoires and faced them backwards about 3 feet from the wall, then put up two thin sheets of wood to cover the back of the armoires and painted it... this acts as my headboard/fake wall that i can walk behind that is my closet space... obviously pictures would help, my apologies... maybe one day i'll have my very own 'apartment therapy house tour' to show... someday. hmm.. i agree with the lack of composition of the wall art/pics... I will say it's a very clean house and put together but it seems to lack continuity. The kitchen and shower are my favorites... and I would kill for that backyard. But to be honest, I accidentally clicked on the link again going through the house tour a second time because I didn't think I saw it before... wasn't very memorable. That being said, I do understand the time and energy it takes for a big project like this and for that, great job. Zach & Heather's Home Sweet Home House Tour |

I also just moved into my new loft and was looking for the perfect modern sofa within my price range. I thought I was set on the Urban Outfitters one until I searched for a store that had it so I could see it in person. The floor models were all they had to sell and they were in worse condition than most craigslists ads I've seen. I wasn't sure if I was going to have my sofa against the wall or not and I was unimpressed with the back view of the UO sofa... It's a great price but I probably only buy it for a guest room since it does fold down to a bed. I went with the pear colored tufted sofa from Macy's which I think vivlai is also referring to... just over 700 and I'm absolutely in love with it. Looks great and it's comfortable. 10 Glorious Gray Tufted Sofas Roundup | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |
