The Stockholm collection has been around for a couple of years. Those new chairs are fantastic. The table looks like it matches -- is it new to the collection too?

Architect here....the pod looked very "homesewn" because of the exposed OSB. It appeared more massive than it really was due to the visual heaviness of the wood. If the pod was lighter in color, shinier/more reflective -- think frosted glass -- I think it may have worked better. I need to see the before and after plans.

Echoing the others..I'd like to see how the sleeping lofts work. I understand the ladders, but do they have rails, half walls, or full walls?

II'm thinking about how annoyed I get when the battery-powered card reader on my hotel room's door fails to read my access card, repeatedly. Or the time I attended a multi-day music festival, got too close to the speakers, and "zapped" my hotel "key". Many people also did that and the hotel staff was very annoyed at rekeying the cards multiple times.

Recently a dog walker, contractor and appliance repair person had keys to my house. I'm imagining saying, yes to access my house, you must first download the app...etc. etc. Sticking a key under a flower pot for them to find works just fine, which I guess would work with these keyless locks as well.

I don't think Greensgrow does flower CSAs, but it's worth asking: http://www.greensgrow.org/csa/

@God is in the Details - We did the same thing. Our barely 1-1/2 bedroom rowhome in Philly wasn't going to cut it with the amount of "stuff" our baby was going to acquire. Even a simple stroller out of place would overwhelm the (small) space. Instead of waiting until he was school age, we bolted to the very nearby older 'burbs when he was born. He's only 14 months old now, but the non-confining space has already been worth it.

On a historical note, our block of 40 rowhomes once had about 50 kids, according to Neighbor who grew up there. Mind you, the homes are only 12'-13' wide and, per Neighbor: "the kids were stacked like cordwood!".

5 stars. We made this over the weekend with these modifications: more apples, less sugar, and less butter per the comments. We didn't find it too eggy at all; more like just enough flan to bind the apples togehter. It has all the sweetness it needs from the apples, but wasn't overly sweet. Soooo good.

I often ask, "what do you do / what are your interests outside of work"? Many people are unemployed or underemployed and asking about work can be stressful. Plus, hobbies are generally much more fun to talk about....we all have boring day jobs....

I miss the "thunk" the stop button made when I was making mixtapes on my boombox. My Dad had a nice stereo with soft-touch buttons, but I wasn't allowed to use it :(

Overstock carries #9 in a blue colorway for quite a bit cheaper than Plow and Hearth. I have the 2x3 size in my small powder room. The large level loop construction is very Anthropologie-esque.

I will say that outdoor rugs are fantastic for families -- typically you just vacuum them and hose them off once in a while. I have a runner on my kitchen's hardwood floors that extends from the stove to the dishwasher. It catches all of the inevitable water drips and saves my floor.

When researching them I found the quality really varies. Some are nothing more than a screenprinted pattern on a "mat". I, personally, prefer the hand loop of tufted construction so that it appears to be more of an indoor rug.

@Pi - Typically the counter overhang accommodates protruding (surface mount) cabinet pulls and/or protruding non-full-overlay cabinet doors. When designing kitchens where the counter edge aligns with the cabinet face, recessed finger pulls can help to keep the look "clean"/minimalist.

My former rowhome: "What? Your only bathroom is on the second floor?" Translation: Parents didn't visit due to very steep stairs.

My current 4-bedroom house: "So, you finally got a bath on the first floor, even if it is only a powder room". Translation: they actually visit.
