Really? I think asymmetric balance can be created on either the right or the left as well as above or below the geometric midline.

When you fold the pasta dough over the piped line of filling and press down the dough to stick to the layer underneath, roll the whole log slightly forward about a quarter turn, then cut off the dough down the length of the pasta roll. Now when you cut the individual pieces, an extra little flap is created. It helps hold the sauce.

quarter an onion, place it with the item in, say, a plastic bag or other enclosure. Let sit for a day or two. The sulphur compounds in the onion kill any organic material causing a bad odor.

Wrap the dry bead in a tea towel & bash it with something. Unwrap and presto! No need for a machine at all...
