I could sure use some colour help. I'm the epitome of a "cool" person, I have no sense of making things homey or warm. I just moved into a new apartment, all white walls and slate behind the fireplace and on the bar that separates my kitchen and living room. Add to that, all my furniture is black or white. Monochrome, yes, pulled together, not at all.

I like the simplicity, but it doesn't feel finished at all. Aside from bringing in huge green plants, fresh flowers and working on the lighting, I'm clueless as to what to do about it without it feeling cluttered and busy (I have a very low tolerance for knicknacks and anything cutesy). Any ideas are most, most welcome.
