Lovely sense of lighting and great fixtures. Especially loved the first photo- total eye candy with the metal floral wall art (50s? Italian?) and the thistle. I've always pined for one of those metal floral things and it's cool to see how great it looks in a modern apartment.

I like this a lot. Lovely people, but as someone else said, it would be nice to see some darker tones of brown which are gorgeous and varied. And some people with more reddish skin, both on the light and dark end of the spectrum.

Love it-super fun, unique and sexy. Great eye for color and texture- I love the combo of peach, chocolatey brown, and maroon, and the Native American bedspread with chinoserie pillows in that color scheme. Love the textured ceramic MCM looking lamp and surrounding tablescape, and how the screen in the corner of the room adds depth and richness.

I could go on an on..

And the owner's personality really comes through in a great way.

Swoon. Love the colors and the whimsy. The dining room table and chairs are total eye candy combined with the mirror cabinet- thanks for sharing their eras.

Beautiful, warm and welcoming. I agree with the poster who said there's something special about someone who does this much work to create a home. She also has an expert sense of space, color, light, and texture- as soon as I saw this I thought she must be a design professional. Everything fits perfectly and is a sensual delight while being understated. Thank you!!

Gorgeous subtle textures and colors, perfect for the space. I don't mind that the metals don't match perfectly. Also love the floor.

I like the dark grout in your bathroom. Wondering if that's original or if you had it done? Sometimes the white tile/dark grout combo just looks like bad 70s decor, but I love how it works with your fixtures.

So awe inspiring and beautiful- thanks for the dose of history. I too have Turkey on my wish list, now even more so. AT also did something about the cave hotels in Turkey and those photos were stunning as well.

Very dissatisfied- update to my previous comment 8 months later. The Natura Harmony mattress I purchased broke down within 4 months. It was excellent prior to breaking down, but now I'm dealing with trying to exchange it when I'd rather get my money back. Latex mattresses do break down and get a big dent in the middle for some other reviewers as well (I notice after the fact). It took 8 years for my conventional mattress to develop this problem and need replacing- I'm astounded it happened within months for this product. Weight is not an issue in my case.

Love the rhino head- I think this is my favorite faux safari animal head ever- so cute and humble looking.

Very happy feeling in every space- thanks for sharing! It really feels like a fun home.

I so love tile and would love my bathroom to be a tile cave. I like a lot of color so I could see living with the green one above, and the texture of penny tile is the best kind of reptilian. Everyone's comments are appreciated since I'm looking for something low maintenance and don't want to spend weekends cleaning grout.

Beautiful! Has a northern CA in the 70s vibe on the inside, and looks lived in and welcoming in the best way. Those floors are incomparable. Thanks for sharing.

I love the coziness of smaller spaces. This is the best, because it feels spacious, cozy and whimsical all at once. Great skylights and furniture placement. The place just looks very happy and well designed.

I'm a sucker for crochet anything- I guess I'm alone on that one. I love the colors, but if you click on the link you'll see it leads to a girl's bedroom, that's why it's a bit over the top candy sweet. I love layers and textures on a bed, lace and crochet included.

Love the old L.A. nostalgic feeling and the soothing neutral palette with dashes of color metallic. Very inspiring and a real retreat.

I normally hate anything verging on mauve but here it's beautiful with silver and captures the old Hollywood feeling.

Swoonworthy.

I lived in the city for 11 years and lived in Noe Valley and the Inner Richmond. I have to say, I'm glad to be back in the East Bay where it's sunnier and less windy.

In my free time I found myself gravitating to the sunniest neighborhoods such as the Mission. The Inner Richmond gets fogged in but isn't as bad as Outer Richmond and Sunset, and it is the best combo of safe and affordable in the city along with the Sunset. The Richmond has more style and more trees than the Sunset IMO.

As far as fog, some consider Divisadero the dividing line with things getting progressively foggier as you move toward the Pacific.

Clement St. in the Richmond is really fun and still feels authentic and down to earth with the Asian grocery stores, etc.

You're near GG Park, the de Young and the Presidio in the Richmond if you like walking in parks.

Living in Noe was great because it's fairly sunny and 24th is a great walking and shopping street. It's definitely a dog and stroller neighborhood, and not very diverse, but the Mission is very close by.

Amazing sense of scale, proportion and color- love it. Wish I had that spatial arrangement gene. Also adore the green wallpaper with metallic accents in the last photo.
