First audit I had was a training audit--the guy's second audit of his life and the letter asked for. EVERYTHING. I REPEAT, EVERYTHING. After I had shredded a bunch after 9/11. I had to pay the effing bank for copies of the bank statements. He didn't look at them. I got a second audit after I moved from NY. One bank thing triggered it and it took a 28-page repsonse from my CPA and me. I've a business, IRA rollovers get messed up, had rental properties, etc. Count yer lucky stars ya haven't been audited. I never owed them anything but it's a PITA.

My bedroom was my January project, but I wasn't going to wash the bedding until today, by my cat helped me by peeing on the bed Saturday afternoon while I was out. I took her to the vet Tues and Fri. Her problem seems to have passed. Keep your fingers crossed, she's acting like her normal 16 year old self.

I bought 3 watercolors from an artist friend http://margygatesart.blogspot.com/ , got them framed and then had a delay hanging them. So I've hung them and get to see 2 of them every day when I wake up. This has gotten me to clean up the area around them. Plus, getting ready for tax time with papers, etc., with https://www.siftsort.com/zooley/jsp/account/login.jsp and also for medical records.

The Cure came at the perfect time.

For cleaning wood cabinets, Guardsman is the best and recommended by every cabinet manufacturer that I've used. Cleans and feeds the wood.

On another note, I went to use a mug the other day for coffee and found part of the shelf pin in it. When I realized it had broken, I went to the hardware store and got a replacement. I had to take all the glasses off that shelf for the replacepment, but couldn't get the broken half out of the hole, so I had to move the shelf to the too tall spot and all the glasses are still on the counter. Today's task will be to get all of that organized. Once I start, I'll probably be up until 2 working on the kitchen. Perfect timing. ;)

Note: The guy who did our tile said not to use vinegar or acids (lemon juice) on tile because the acid dissolves the grout, which is why I said to do this with bleach (yeah, I know) for the caulking around tubs etc., so you don't make it worse by dissolving grout and getting mold in there.I have 3 lemon trees, so no offense lemon lovers.

"I use Mrs. Meyer's line of home cleaners. I especially love the scent of their basil line. So calming on the nerves. However, I'm still trying to look for a green substitute for my laminate floor cleaner. Any suggestions out there?"
Note: A spray bottle of water and the microfiber pad will get A LOT of stuff off the floor. A LOT.

I read about getting rid of mold with the cotton "rope" for haircoloring from the beauty supply store and dipping it in 50/50 water and bleach. Then you put the cotton rope around the bath tub or shower where it is moldy, tucking it in so it makes contact with the mold. Let it stay overnight or while you are at work, then ta da! Mold is gone.

I read that article, have been a vegetarian since I was 10, had cats since I was 5, and no way in he|| would I try to make my cats vegetarians! Who would think cats that catch mice and birds were ever supposed to be vegetarians?

I don't necessarily like lace curtains, but those kitties are CUTE!

they are ugly if you get the standard crap from Home Depot or Lowes, but there are some nice ones out there. And they increase energy efficiency. Those crappy chandeliers HGTV and TLC shows don't do that.
