If my bathroom looked like that, I'd gladly spend time cleaning it everyday! Sexy. -- I know it's not great for the environment, but I keep a box of baby wipes (at least I get those in the most earth-friendly possible!) in my cabinet and when I'm in a rush to clean up I just wipe everything down with a baby wipe and toss it. After the mirror dries I use a hand towel to 'buff' off the streaks. It keeps things from building up when I don't have a lot of time. How To Keep Your Bathroom Clean In 5 Minutes A Day |

I just had flash backs of cleaning house as a kid. We used an actual rake (a small version of the kind with the flexible tines) on our carpet! It would get the carpet "perked up" for a good vacuuming. Keep Your Carpet Looking New Longer With A Carpet Rake This Fresh Fossil |

I agree with some other posters on wheat beers for beer "newbies". I think Sam Adams Cherry Wheat is what really brought me in as a beer drinker. I usually do a spray bottle + a couple of minutes in the dryer. I love it. Hot Tip: Wrinkles? Forget the Iron. Use a Spray Bottle. |

I can't believe all the people saying it's a waste of a grape fruit! It's better to produce something in a factory, wasting all that energy and causing pollution, than to pick up an extra grapefruit? Do you know how much produce ends up getting thrown out at grocery stores? I think it's great to utilize a renewable resource instead of having to create a whole new product! I can't use my own containers at the local store, but what I ended up doing was buying some ziplock bags and using those. Then when I get home I just put the items in to their containers, wash out the ziplock bags and put them away in box until the next time I need to buy bulk items. Not as great as using REAL reusable containers, but I've used the same zip locks over and over, and they are a lot easier to wash and reuse than the flimsy bags they have at the store. You can write right on the bag and you don't need to use a new twist tie each time! :) Shopping Tip: Mark the Tare Weight On Your Containers | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest |

I always told myself that next time I ended up living in an apartment with no washer or dryer I'd finally get a human-powered washer, like the Wonder Wash. That day hasn't come yet, and I'm enjoying my roommates low-water usage HE machine. Squash Wash: No Electricity Minimal Water Washing | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest |
