If my bathroom looked like that, I'd gladly spend time cleaning it everyday! Sexy. -- I know it's not great for the environment, but I keep a box of baby wipes (at least I get those in the most earth-friendly possible!) in my cabinet and when I'm in a rush to clean up I just wipe everything down with a baby wipe and toss it. After the mirror dries I use a hand towel to 'buff' off the streaks. It keeps things from building up when I don't have a lot of time.

I also have a decorative bowl on my counter and in my quick pick-up before leaving the bathroom after getting ready I toss stray items (clips, pins, eyeliner, whatever!) into the bowl and deal with it on my day off. Keeps clutter down!

I just had flash backs of cleaning house as a kid. We used an actual rake (a small version of the kind with the flexible tines) on our carpet! It would get the carpet "perked up" for a good vacuuming.

I use them for hanging calendars, or hanging anything I want up on the wall.

My favorite use is in the kitchen to hold bags closed. They're on everything! Bags of rice, cereal, chips, frozen vegetables, etc. They're a lot cheaper than "chip clips" and they come in a range of sizes for different jobs.

I agree with some other posters on wheat beers for beer "newbies". I think Sam Adams Cherry Wheat is what really brought me in as a beer drinker. These days I give just about anything a go, usually the darker or hoppier the better!

I usually do a spray bottle + a couple of minutes in the dryer. I love it.

I can't believe all the people saying it's a waste of a grape fruit! It's better to produce something in a factory, wasting all that energy and causing pollution, than to pick up an extra grapefruit? Do you know how much produce ends up getting thrown out at grocery stores? I think it's great to utilize a renewable resource instead of having to create a whole new product!

Thanks for the tip!

I can't use my own containers at the local store, but what I ended up doing was buying some ziplock bags and using those. Then when I get home I just put the items in to their containers, wash out the ziplock bags and put them away in box until the next time I need to buy bulk items. Not as great as using REAL reusable containers, but I've used the same zip locks over and over, and they are a lot easier to wash and reuse than the flimsy bags they have at the store. You can write right on the bag and you don't need to use a new twist tie each time! :)

I always told myself that next time I ended up living in an apartment with no washer or dryer I'd finally get a human-powered washer, like the Wonder Wash. That day hasn't come yet, and I'm enjoying my roommates low-water usage HE machine.

I do have to say that the Squash Wash does have one over the Wonder Wash in that I could use my feet! The downside to either of these washers for me is that I'm plus size, so I'm afraid I'd stick in one pair of jeans and that would pretty much be it. :D
