I also think you can make the adjustment to electric, you just do. I do find from my experience that the glass tops are hard to clean, I really hate them. I also feel more confidant banging my pots around on a coil top stove! Which Electric Stoves Do You Recommend? Good Questions |

A dark stain would be nice or not.. but I would not use a sealer. A few years ago I refinished a dresser and used paste wax for a finish. I apply a new coat every year (with a lamb wool buffer attachment for my drill) and I love they way the finish has worn over the years. It enhances the integrity of the wood and has a lovely soft finish... Finishes for Vintage Credenza? Good Questions |

No it does not encourage me to eat.... but my kitchen is so much cleaner than before I had a TV in the kitchen. I tend to spend more time cleaning while watching an episode of hoarders! Does a TV or Computer in the Kitchen Encourage Overeating? |

In fairness the picture maybe straight but it does not necessarily read that way in a photograph... but some matting around some of the pictures would have given some "breathing room" around the art work..
