Where does it show it for free? I just looked on T-Mobile's website and it's going for $149.99 with a 2-year contract.

I'm not seeing how the DIY Stabilizer mentioned in the article is do it yourself. I see no instructions, and links to buy it.

I use Magic Jack. It works great most of the time, where every once in a while, it won't work (just hang up the phone and try again and it's usually fine). Two things that I wonder about: (1) It seems processor hungry, so my old laptop is constantly at 50% cpu usage when MJ is running (usually 24/7), and the computer freezes up one every couple of weeks, and (2) I don't know how well it works on a 1.5Mbps internet connection; we use 12Mbps and the calls are smooth, clear and loud.

I thought Google TV already launched, no?

Neither the Mac Mini, nor the iMac have eSATA or USB 3.0. That, and neither are meant to be portable, so that last paragraph is useless.

Agreed. If you going to hang the TV, do it right. However, the power cord cannot go throught the wall -- that's against code on most, if not all states. It's pretty simple to daisy-chain from a lower outlet to behind the TV. I did it all for less than $50.

Please take me on your next trip! I lived in Rio for a year. It's a beatiful place, the people are very nice, and the food is beyond delicious (especially the all-you-can-eat pizza and meat restaurants -- called Rodizios). Oh, I want to go back! Anybody want to babysit 4 kids for a month while the wife and I go to the 2014 world cup or 2016 olymics?

Um, the comparable Roku box is the HD-XR since it has built-in Wi-Fi N. That goes for $99.

A landline is the only thing I have (if magicjack counts as a landline). $20 a year for unlimited phone is cheap and wonderful -- saves me, what, $1500 a year?

No, that's not weird. It's efficient as it's a waste of time to move you hand to the mouse, then move the mouse then click, when you could just stretch your left pinky to hit the tab button.

What do you mean that Hulu rarely updates. Within 1 or 2 days (usually 1) of a new episode airing, Hulu is updated. That's true for all free networks and some cable networks like USA. It's how we watch most of our shows.

It might help to give the link to the actual instruction as a picture does not suffice as a full tutorial.

Glue works great when you pulling perpendicular to the glued surface. However, it's not so good when being pulled on parallel to the glued surface, as with children hanging on this, or coats and heavy bags. Even if the glue sets quickly or is super strong, it's just innately weaker that way. Screws for strength and glue to keep them from spinning is a good design.

Oh, love the idea by the way! I'm hesitant to present this to my wife as she might make me do it... :0

When you're talking about the AC, how often are you actually talking about the actual machine (unless you're in the business of building and repairing them)? Most people are talking about the temperature when they say they want the AC adjust. So turn the AC down means make it cooler, not make the AC machine work less so it get hotter.

If you're running cables through the wall, DON'T run the TV's power cable! This is against fire code in most states. Get some romex and a outlet/wall plate from the hardware store and install a new outlet that daisy chains from an outlet below. I did that and everything looks great and works perfect. It only cost me $50 thanks to monoprice!
