Thank you for all the feedback! Knowing that the quality of Ikea is not the best it made me a little scared to try to put it together myelf, but I'm glad to hear that most of you had good experiences. I'm going to Ikea this weekend and will definitely rethink the 6 drawer in favor of 2 of the 3 drawer dresser, I think that is a great option, and can be used elsewhere in the future if need be. I know this is an older entry, but I am loving this place, the art, the furniture placement, all of it! The sofa...it is exactly the style that I am searching for for my new apartment...if you check back any info on it would be greatly appreciated! I'm new to AT- posting comments that is...but I turned to ebay when ordering shag white rugs...sansom shag rugs .c http://stores.ebay.com/SANSOM-SHAG-RUGS-C You can customize the size and color. I had a 5x5 size in white in an old apt a couple of years back and loved it, and a lot less than $500. I had tiled floors and never noticed any shedding.
