Alrighty. I read. A lot. But once I read a book, I almost never read it again. Though these libraries are lovely, I do wonder how practical they are, and who dusts them?

This was a great tour because it's full of useful ideas. Like the small tables (metal and bamboo), the small blue and white planter, the great artwork, interesting light fixtures...Those things can appeal to anyone on any budget. Now about that kitchen...

240 sq. ft. for a bedroom in manhattan? What is that like, 20x12? That'e huge!

"Done Right" except no way blocking windows like that would pass a fire code inspection. I am relieved they don't live there anymore.

What are the dimensions of this room? I like to chalkboard idea instead of the photo. In my girl's room, I have two birdhouses mounted on the same wall with a rope in between, and their own photos/pictures are clipped on with laundry clips. Very cute (Target 19.99 but they have similiar things on ETSY).

As someone who has two girls in a 9x12 room, which is small but not small enough for this contest, I think some of these entries look suspiciously large. What is 75 feet? 7.5x10?

I had tiled kitchen counters with white grout on my kitchen counter and I came to learn (the hard way) the only way to keep the grout white was to cover it once and a while with another thin coating of white grout. Don't fight it, use your common sense- white grout gets dirty.

BUY I mean cheaper too.

Can't id but you must be my twin. Love the table and the rug and yes at one point I had a gray tweed couch (relative who worked in office furniture sales).

I'd hang a fancier gilt mirror up there. Find interesting objects to put on the mantle, but nothing may be better. Wait until you see something you would enjoy looking at every day. Put a fire screen up. Love the rug and the smiling child.
