is it weird that i actually know steve, from the first picture? you never think these people are real. but they are. he volunteers at the same pet rescue that I do.

fyi-- toilet training is not a good idea if you're in california, or anywhere near the coast. it will likely be flushed to the ocean at some point and cat 'stuff' is toxic to seals. i'm no expert, but I have read a few articles about it, which talked me out of the idea.

feng shui is just rude. my bed is under a window and my feet face the door. 'they carry the dead out that way,' someone says?! creep! sometimes rooms naturally dictate where furniture needs to be placed. i don't think that furniture placement curses anything. lighten up! go get another crystal necklace for your toilet and leave the rest of us be.

i love this. i buy and love listening to vinyl, but buying some crappy old kitschy albums from the goodwill store up the street and turning them into storage is AWESOME. mormon tabernacle choir for 25 cents, here i come!
