OMG. I am a massive fan of using bright colours in your home so I love these rooms. One of the downsides of using bright colours is that it if go off them you can't really ignore them, and it can be expensive to redecorate. So what I do is I often paint just one wall in a bright colour and then use accessories to emphasise that colour. Then when I'm bored of that I colour all I have to do is repaint one wall and change some accessories and the room looks completely different.

Our kitchen is getting just that type of makeover in the next few weeks. The bright blue wall is being changed to lime but actually the existing pieces out on display all go with the new lime so all I'm paying for is one wall to be painted.
