Between moving all.the.time. and amazon.com, I like feel most of our garage devoted to boxes. It's so cluttery, BUT it's been a lifesaver when packing up and moving on. Especially the big TV box, it's the first thing moving companies ask when they see the TV(only 42"). If we didn't have the original they want us to buy one of theirs $70+ and/or want to charge extra for insurance. When to Toss Your Tech Boxes |

I need to put my Xoom in my purse and discovered my husband's Zegna shoe bags are perfect. Guess he shouldn't have left it laying on the closet floor. :) Need a Tablet or Laptop Sleeve? Look Around You |

I vote no tub, and I have a three year old. Tubs just use up waaay to much water. Especially the ridiculous oval 'garden' tubs that I'm stuck with in this rental. Does Shower, No Tub, Hurt Resale Value? Good Questions |

If you have a tip for teaching a 3-year-old this I would LOVE you forever! I'm trying everything, let's walk like butterflies, can you be a little fairy and tiptoe?, did you know that mice make NO sounds when they scurry, lets be like mice!, I swear to high heaven if you stomp across the room like that again no dessert!!! (Ok, I only say the last one in my head). I apologize profusely to our lovely neighbor ladies, both of which swear it doesn't bother them, and bake them goodies every other month or so but I still feel horrible. For the short term, while you're are putting pennies away for a custom cover, you could find a fabulous throw to drape across the back for everyday. Maybe a faux chinchilla or super yummy cashmere. For the arms, if you could find a similar fabric, make shells to cover them. My grandmother used hand towels, and while totally functional, they were not particularly pleasing from a design standpoint. Both items are easy to throw in a closet when company comes and easy to clean. Slipcover for Macy's "Chloe" Sofa? Good Questions |

I made a snarky facebook comment about the upholstry on our hand-me-down sofa and my sister-in-law was so insulted. I can only assume she picked it out as a child because there is no way she'd ever let that thing near her place. Fitting in Furniture Hand Me Downs from Your Family |

This is beautiful, love the soft colors. But seriously, with dogs and boys how do you keep everything so white? I'm on the verge of giving up my white on white bedroom because my 3 year old little girl, dog and cat are wrecking havok on it! :) Kristin's Uncommon Slice of Suburbia House Tour |
