Last year when I did the cure, I asked a similar question about mine (but my GOD, your upholstery is so much better!) Yours looks VERY similar, and I think the name tossed around was Sigrun Bulow-Hube for a Canadian furniture company (AKA?) maybe you can find out more! My pop made me an amazing framed chalkboard with a flip-up lidded mail/stuff space attached. Looks kinda like something you'd see in an old schoolhouse. Anyways, it's wicked handy and I'm sure you could DIY a two-piece by combining a floating shelf or drawer with a writing surface or a mirror (which are awesome for light AND dry-erase markers! double points!) a nice variation on battered tofu is my new favourite food: toss cubed tofu in a skillet with a touch of oil (or butter, if you prefer.) lightly brown all sides. Pour nutritional yeast over cubes to cover, then shake a few splashes of bragg's over. stir to coat, adding a touch more braggs as needed. let it crisp up, about 3 or 4 minutes. DELICIOUS! Im with the majority and vote option 1- gorgeous! In the interest of clarity, everything BUT the old plywood sign in my living room is held up by command adhesive. That one needed some special help, and some truly horrifying holes in my wall. Oh well, they tell me plaster is easy to repair.....
