8" Henckels which I dropped on concrete and snapped off the tip; I kept it for 10 years until my brother ground it down and reshaped it, it's not as good for mincing as before, but the steel is so much better than the 'identica'l 8" henckels I bought years later to replace it.

I agree with Djluckyonline. The room is fine, the coffee table is fine - and killocallan - move chair and coffee table. do something above the tv, move the bookcase (way out of the way - say in another room) and put something more appropriate that addresses the corner condition, get a rug that harmonizes with the floor and chair and not just the chair .

salt a cast iron grille, heat, bring steak to room temperature seasoned with salt and pepper, put steak on hot grille, remove when done to taste and enjoy with a squirt of lemon.
