Got one just like this at Ross a couple months ago for less than 5 bucks! It is awesome. Even my 2 yo can get it out herself. An Essential Step Stool For The Kitchen And Bathroom |

Perhaps use a "transition" crib? I have one, Sniglar, from ikea that you can take off one of the sides when they're ready. I'm guessing yours might not do that? But you could by another crib, have both kiddies in a crib until your oldest needs to move up (if he needs it) and then you can go straight to a twin once he's outgrown the crib/toddle bed. We use a Berkey filtration system in my home. Cost effective, good for the environment and it works really well. Here's a good cost/filter comparison chart from the website http://www.berkeyfilters.com/waterfiltercomparison.htm Product Review: ZeroWater Pitcher & Filter Test Lab |

I love this house!!! The location, the look, the size, the porch! It is my dream home. I don't find it cold and stark but very inviting, in that it's simple enough to allow me to imagine my own things here and there to pretend I live there (I do tend to clutter a bit more). In my household we drink from a Berkey 3 gal. water filter. It filters the stuff like metals and crap (it can even filter out food coloring) but minerals are still there. So much cheaper and environmentally friendly (no plastic waste) and the filters last 5 years. Where I live the tap tastes yucky and the filter makes it taste so soft and good. And since the one I have is large, I can use it for cooking too. I figured the investment would pay itself off in about 2 years (We used to buy water by the gallon) and we don't have to run to the store when we run out. We love it and wouldn't think about going back. Drinking Water at HomeSurvey | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |
