But dphil, the whole point of this post is taking art inspired by graffiti and giving it a legitimate space. Whether as a painting, print or plates, it is no different than any other type of art.

Anyone know where that orange lamp in the main picture is from? That's what tipped me over the edge to join but I can't find it anywhere!

It looks like a cool tool... but it is literally taking minutes for each page to load. Hopefully their servers are overloaded with AT and D8 peeps, though that should have been part of the PR plan. Because if it really is that slow in a couple days, it is essentially useless.

I think tags often look contrived as art. Not that they aren't artistic, but it sort of defeats the subversive intention of the medium. I do love stencil art though. I currently have a huge piece by 3cent hanging over my fireplace: Bob Dylan Blues.

Yup, I'll add another vote for an NCAA-style bracket like jssbzk described. I can't complain too much because my favorite is still in it (Texas pride!) but I agree that some very strong contenders were bumped out too early.

And from the charred embers of your soul has arisen a triumphant ROYGBV Phoenix, molting all over your small, cool space.

Though I'd take that is black and turn it white, I dig the pops of color. This earn a thumbs up just for intriguing me.

I was promised my dog would barely shed, yet my entire life is covered in a layer of blue dog hair. UGH! I have found it just about impossible to keep up with. That Scoth Fur Fighter was totally useless. I do need to start vacuuming every day since she is shedding more at the moment, but she hates the vacuum cleaner so it turns into quite the ordeal, hair and dust and barking everywhere. The lint rollers are my best friend so far, sometimes I even use them on small rugs and bath mats to avoid washing them so often. And that damp cloth idea just might work. But from now on I'm only buying upholstery in various shades of gray. I've already started doing that with my clothes and I can almost pretend I'm not covered in hair.

I cannot wait for Austin!

I'm from Chicago, live in Austin and have always wanted a matching set of Chicago-Austin prints. Neighborhood prints, travel posters, whatever. But for some reason no one makes anything for ATX! So thank you for putting that on the list, cause apparently I'm too lazy to make one myself.
