I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would kill to be in all that snow. Our winters in Ottawa are super snowy too, but with this oppressive heat wave (44 degrees (Celsius) = 111 degrees Fahrenheit) I wish it were February right now! I know, I know....typical Canuck....always complaining about the weather. Yeah, there is a lot of lighting, eh? I guess it's because I live in an older townhouse (built in the '70s) and the potential for overhead lighting is almost nonexistent. Two floorlamps in the living room = EQ3 Orange light in the living room = Kijiji Teak light in the living room = Kijiji Floorlamp in the office = Kijiji Ceiling light in the bedroom = vintage piece from my parents Floorlamp in the bedroom = Kijiji I also bought a ceiliing to floor DNA light with twelve bulbs(Kijiji again) but it's pretty heavy, so I'm trying to figure out where/how to hang it. The teak piece that the tv is on is from my parents - they have another one just like it that I've been trying to get my hands on for years, but they just won't budge. It is an Italsofa, bought from Colonial Furniture here in Ottawa (they're out of business now). Thank you so much for the generous and lovely comments. I am really in shock that pictures of MY house are on AT - I am always so inspired by everything on this site.
