I don't like anybody but my husband and I in my bedroom. We are expecting, and the little one will stay in there until able to be in their crib and as they get older, they don't get to share our bed. You need healthy boundaries and personal space. Not like they get punished for going in there, but generally they will know that there isn't an open invitation to sleep or play in there. I had a bench upholstered in a high quality neutral animal print for me, and in the future would look great in a nursery. I'd just decorate the rest of the room a little differently when the time comes. So yes I'm all for it :) Are Animal Prints Suitable for Kids' Decor? |

Agree 100%. We have friends that always want to go out here, eat there, blah blah blah. Most of these places don't cook as well as I do, or have as much coziness as we do in our house. i have a stack of moving blankets in my garage that I will never part with! Those babies can do anything. Mix those with the furniture mover pads and you're golden. Also, don't even think of removing the pads from expensive heavy furniture on wood floors - if you can't see them, who cares, and your floors will thank you for it. Go buy new ones after the move. The posters here are pretty annoying. "Anything not wood!" EXCEPT blah blah blah. Or never typography! Except blah blah blah. Sure a lot of this stuff looks contrived but not everybody sits on Apartment Therapy and over analyzes their home decor. Some people DO NOT CARE if they pick the art to match the couch and why should we? I feel the same way about a lot of these things but it's not like they get my panties in a bunch. These are all cute portraits, but maybe feature more with faces? Don't get me wrong, it'd be great to see that cute umbrella one in an edited roll of film from your photographer and print it for your own house, but nearly all of the portraits here are of people's feet or backsides - would you make that your yearly photo to your relatives that don't see you often?
