Those nifty invisible markers are on our Christmas list for our two and a half year old. The only downside is that the coloring books that the markers work on are kinda pricey ($4.99 for a pretty small amount of pages). BUT, for some reason my daughter has colored the same pages over and over again on the two we bought, and one of them was the one that included the markers, so it's worth it for us! I think it probably helps that she can use them without us having to say no too much. I mean, when you're two you pretty much hear that word WAY too much in your little life. I would recommend the Mudpuppy magnetic shapes magnets. They made letters, numbers, fruits and vegatables, and farm animals. I have a two year old and we have the letters, numbers and fruits and veggies and she loves them all. We also have the Leap Frog fridge farm, which she liked more when she was younger, but still plays with from time to time. Fun Magnets for Kids? Good Questions |

They are pretty small. It's 3+ so the choking hazard is there. That being said, we have this for my 2 year old and she enjoys them. She puts them on the fridge and practices putting them in the pouch. Such a quality product. Well made and something we will keep for subsequent kids for sure. Tegu Pocket Pouch Family Find |

To the posters commenting about seeing posts that are not related to design and should be in the ohdeedoh section of apartment therapy, I think when Apartment Therapy changed stuff up they explained that there would still be separate sections (although ohdeedoh is now called family). If you go to apartmenttherapy.com's "main" section it will show all posts from all sections. If you click on separate ones you will only see those posts related to that section and so forth. Just giving you guys a heads up so you don't have to see stuff you don't want to see. 2011's Most Popular Baby Names |

I just think it's too much for a room that is supposed to promote sleep. But, for a playroom it'd be awesome. And, if chevron still floats your boat, then by all means, chevron it up. DIY Chevron Wall Tutorial: Bright & Bold |

We usually only put our cable on the "music choice" channels when our little is around. She likes oldies best, but sometimes it's fun to watch her dance to 80's or 90's hits we remember. TV Time: What's the Magic Number? |

Sell these at the shop I manage and I use one as well. Highly recommend them. Comfy, easy to clean and pretty affordable for the quality. Great highchairs for the price as well. Keekaroo Cafe Booster Family Find |

e someone has already adressed this but I'm at work and don't have the time to read every comment (<---kinda funny considering the topic), but it should also be noted that men STILL make more than women on average last time I checked. If someone has the time to look up info on that please do. It would be interesting to see the most recent numbers on that.! Home Ec., Pt. 2: A Balancing Act for Us All |

Yep, saw this on Pinterest and it has worked marvelously. You can cut your own shape of Christmas tree and ornaments. It's a great inexpensive idea. And how cool is it that felt sticks to felt!? Ah, the small things in life. Make A Toddler-Friendly Felt Christmas Tree Johnny In A Dress |

I think your babe is probably just fine. I would also suggest the thermometer. We actually got a baby monitor with one built in. Definitely provided us with peace of mind. Keeping an Infant Warm During Winter Nights Good Questions |

We didn't carve pumpkins until a couple of days before Halloween. We've let ours only go for 4-5 days and when we threw it out this morning it was pretty gnarly. I can't imagine having it go for longer than a week! Yuck. Do You Remove Decorations Right Away Or Are You A Procrastinator? |

I'd just like to know more about that bunting, because I am a sucker for a cute bunting. It looks like it's tied on securely, rather than loosely? Would love more details. But, I mean, yeah, definitely would have to be relocated pretty soon regardless. My Room: Baby Bishop Staunton, VA |
