I didn't do that with a sweater but I did with an old corduroy shirt that was a sentimental favorite of my DH's but I simply _could not_ wear it anymore (not out of the house, anyway, wink wink). It now has pride of place as a decorative pillow on our bed. I don't know that I'd buy one but to keep a treasure, sure. Sweater Knit Pillows: Cute, But Do They Really Fit? |

You may also want to call around to your local theaters. We can usually repair items, are 501(c)3 licensed so it's a tax-deductible donation to us, too, and often, if it's a good piece, can store it til we need it for a show. We often don't know what we need til we need it so having people calling us with donations saves us time on the back end. Donating Used Furniture to a Thrift Store? Think Again |

Been drinking raw milk now for about 3 years but can't get it legally in NC. It's the only milk I'll let my toddler drink, too. Don't trust the pasteurized stuff. It can get awful superbugs that you can't smell. If I don't drink the raw stuff fast enough, my nose tells me not to consume it! Raw Milk: What's the Hold Up? | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest |

OLDER KIDS ONLY. I just downloaded one and the instructions are not completely clear and the pieces are VERY intricate. This is not a young kids craft. Beautiful, yes. Easy, no. Downloadable Papercrafts | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

I found Ghost Town Farm through Novella's sister, Riana, who is doing her own farm thing in France. Both sisters are amazing women, forging these bountiful lives out of what the universe provides for them. Backyard Farmers: 25 Websites You Should Be Reading | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest |

I save bacon grease to use again for, oh, just about everything. Browning meat, frying eggs, adding just a bit to sauteed greens, anything my grandmother would've done. What Is the Best Way To: Dispose of Kitchen Grease? | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest |

I was unable to successfully nurse so I exclusively pumped for the first six months of my daughter's life. I was thrilled that I could still give her my milk and the family members who helped care for her were happy to be able to feed her, too. I never felt that it took the place of bonding time with her; being in pain does not beget any bonding whatsoever. It usually worked out that I pumped while she slept, anyway, so I was able to get a lot of reading done, too. ;) Breastpumping Rather than BreastfeedingTime Magazine | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |
