An fyi for what its worth....
According to our guide, the building with the pillars up front was the library where men gathered while their wives go shopping knowing that their husbands were busy absorbing knowledge. Well, the library was apparently a place also for the ladies of the night....
Anyone heard of this one?

I totally agree with DebbyB. We enjoyed our trip to Turkey, highly recommended. We did enjoy staying at Nisayan but our room was so tiny one person was sleeping against the wall and the other person could fall out of bed into the bathroom. There was certainly no room for luggage. I had to pack my bag in the shared living room. The dinner was ok, very little choice, and expensive for what it was, even by California stds. The service at breakfast was terrible, I had to wait 30 mins for my omelet. Despite all this, the hotel has a nice setting and Sirince is a wonderful village.

I did not see any comment about how one feels about having a sofa for an extended length of time. While good quality is something is certainly desirable, one need to consider the price in the light of changing taste. If the circumstances change, taste change, moves etc, it is hard to bring one to throw away something that is still in perfect condition. While I carted my leather sofa I bought from Harrods (London) through 3 continents and finally gave it up after 20 years, I have always eyed the lovely sofas in the show room and wonder if I should shell out more money for a change of scene.
