I HATE washing dishes! I make it slightly more pleasant by buying "fancier" dish soap! Hey, when you're 20's Method brand is sometimes a luxury! One of my lazy secrets is when I know I'm going to have a stressful work week and little time, I will just use paper plates. Otherwise, I know I'll just let them accumulate and it will make me feel more stressed to see a pile. Also, I invite people over often. Please recycle your unwanted cosmetic containers! Origins will take any kind of difficult to recycle plastic or glass and make sure it gets recycled properly. I recently put all my DVD cases in under the bed boxes and the discs in IKEA binders. It saves so much space on my shelves, but it also keeps me from piling up other random stuff under my bed and then forgetting about it forever. I saw on some website (maybe here?) someone using painted strips of crown molding to hang heels. It is cheap and you could go very high up the wall! Great (Not Over the Door) Shoe Storage Options? Good Questions |

When I was studying in Italy I brought back a GIANT, GIANT street poster of Patrick Dempsey for Italian Vanity Fair. My friends and I found him slung over a bike rack one late night waiting to be picked up by the trash collectors. I had to steam it for a long time to be able to peel him off the cardboard backing, but it was so worth it! He call him ( after the headline ) "Il Papa Sexy". Best of all, it was free!
