$803 mortgage on a 1 bedroom condo in nashville tn. It's 752 sq ft. . This is not including association fee and utilites. My utiltes are not bad but still it gets a little tight for me.The location is great- right in the center of it all. I'm about to move the bf in, he is splitting one side of duplex with a guy, good safe location but it's a moldy crap hole. I want to sell pretty soon and look for a house or two bedroom condo/apt.

I absolutely agree. Find your own inspector. Period! I won a condo too, it was my first purchase of property and i had no idea what I was doing. Talk about learning the hard way. After I move in, I start having severe clogged pipes and back up problems, the plumber I hire tells me that my pipes are the old galvanized kind that are pretty much ready to expire! I don't have the money to replace them. So about every three to four months- I have to spend about $300 hundred dollars to have a plumber clear out this terrible corroded mess in my pipes. I also had to rebuild the toilet. Seriously- the accient plumbing was not caught my the inspector before sale. My realtor just had someone tell me that my place was in great condition so he could sell this place to me. Get your own inspector- someone who can check everything.

re: llalib
that sounds like what had to do. I freaked out when I discovered I had fleas just a couple of weeks ago. My worst nightmare, I'll take anything but fleas- those lousy b*stards! And I've gotta agree waiting around is the worst thing you can do. these suckers reproduce like mad. I have one cat and she is indoor only. It's pretty frustrating not knowing how I got them, other dogs in my apartment complex? At first I put Frontline on my cat, but i didn't do this the right way and she ended up licking this stuff off, the fleas just kept multiplying and kept tormenting her (she refused to leave her safe spot on top of my toilet), I had fleas bites all over me. Then I called the vet- they recommended Capstar and a bomb. I gave her capstar, gave her a bath with biospot, my cat hated the bath, but this kind was soothing to her and she was SO happy afterwards. I took her to my boyfriends. I did the bomb fogging thing but that really didn't work, seriously I refused to live in my home- I was so depressed. I bought the over the counter spray- didn't work. These were like mutant fleas!! I broke down and called the exterminator. they said using those drops on the animal is the best way but I had to wait three weeks to give her the drop again to be safe. I waited until it was safe to give her frontline again, the extermintor came and for a pretty penny they sprayed my house with what I can only assume was the maximum strength super flea killer, and yes you can try and shame me for this but I'd rather that then seeing my cat suffering and little red bumps all over my body. I have been vacuuming like crazy and they seem to be gone, thank heavens. I also set up a light trap and caught a bunch. I recommend the light trap. I am bringing my cat back today to see how it goes. Needless to say i've had a very stressed month or so

I have the Aquasana AQ-4100 Shower Filter. i LOVE it. I live mid town nashville, and have particularly old pipes. Something that I didn't know to look for before i bought, of course. Anyway- the water was so horrible, my hair would look so funky sometimes, dried out and gunky and even breaking off, there would be these pink stains all over my tub. I don't know what the heck was in the water but it was totally unacceptable. I have had my filter for three months now and my hair and skin look wonderful, no more stains too. Seriously could not live without my filter. I might have to replace mine more oftern though because I feel it's working overtime
