Ha. This should be paired with the "how often do you wash your sheets" post. Eeek!

I don't see any criticism of the project. I see commentary on incorrect word choice from the "editors."

I often peel them under running water. Helps a lot. But in my experience if the peels don't slip off easily they are undercooked.

What is up with dads giving weird gifts like this? My dad gave me two pounds of poppy seeds the other day "so I could learn how to make levkar from scratch like my great-grandmother." He also casually mentioned I would need to buy a special, dedicated grinder to so.

I don't even like poppy seeds! And I've never expressed a desire to make poppy seed levkar from scratch, purchase expensive dedicate seed crushers, and never met the great-grandmother.

Non-vinyl shower curtains are easy to find and in fact, dominate the market now. And I don't think water based markers/washable markets would be durable enough for the job. You either have to go Sharpie or choose paint or something else.

I think this is brilliant reuse of an obsolete piece of furniture.

But the execution is pretty poor and I wish AT would be a little more thoughtful about what it is willing to post. This is a *design* blog and should post good design.

I never can tell if there really so little out there on the interwebs for the staff to pull or if these posts are designed to elicit comment.

This Wonderworld model is quite well designed, easy to play with, good looking, and has a second house as finger puppet house: http://www.amazon.com/Wonderworld-Eco-Friendly-Posting-House-Sorter/dp/B00004UD6H/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328735282&sr=8-1

Glass all the way. I like to be able to see in my containers. This is by far my favorite set: http://www.target.com/p/Pyrex-6-pc-Storage-Value-Pack/-/A-10507546 . It is inexpensive and the sizing is perfect. Cheaper than there other lines because these aren't the fancy microwave lids.

According to my dad, who is both an engineer and a welder, you can't do so safely because the risk is too great.

I kept saying things like "anchor in the wall" and "studs" and he just said NO. This applies both to framed art and/or anything heavy. Changing out the glass to plastic isn't good enough.

Eh. Our lemon tree cost $25, including extra potting soil and is watered from the sky. Three months in it is covered in tasty little future lemons.
