Love the paint colors ... can you be more specific about names of colors -- especially what is in the living room and kitchen. Love the upstairs coffee nook ... love the whole thing! Jeff & Mary's Mod Home (and Airstream!) Rehab House Tour |

Don't paint it! Leave it! When we listed our house a couple of years ago when our son was 18 months, we painted our whole house a beautiful neutral white with a hint of blue (arctic ice). It was so light and airy it made me not want to move after all! Anyway, despite painting neutral like everyone advises, the buyer came in and painted almost every room anyway -- in garish, bright colors. The whole house was painted two times within five months -- how wasteful!! It was hard to witness. So ... I don't think your beautiful wall will be enough to put someone off, and whoever comes in will paint anyway, no doubt. And if your wall does put someone off, you won't want to sell to them anyway! Offer a paint allowance up front ... that seems like a reasonable thing to do! Good luck ... selling a house is difficult no matter what, but extra hard with little kids. I can't wait to hear more. I am in the middle of choosing a gray for my bedroom and have about 10 spots on my wall. It is really hard to choose a gray and you must see it in your own room to really decide. I'm leaning toward Mythic paint Grey Rain right now, based on a House Tour, but it may be too dark for my space. Based on what I see here, Stonington looks really pretty and interesting in your space. Quite a departure from what you have, though! DIY Painting: Testing Benjamin Moore Gray Samples |

LOVE the desk ... is there any more information you could provide on how Eli made it? Specifically, what is the blue surface of the desk, paint? metal? Eli & Jessica's Comforting Cambridge Condo House Tour |

Wow, Jen, great space. Love the wonderful wall colors. I wonder if you will stop in and share the gray wall color in your office, and possibly where you got that set of drawers just to the left of your desk? Thanks! Jen's First "Real" Apartment House Call | Apartment Therapy Chicago |

I just wanted you to know that we did end up using your idea in our son's room and it came out very well! We did outlines of notable buildings from our "home" cities--Los Angeles and Austin, we'll see if our friends recognize them. I even got a similar bike clock and it really looks great. Thanks again for sharing your ideas ... it was such an inspiration! Finn's Fabulous City Skyline Suite | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

Love it! My son is now 3.5 and has chosen superheroes as his "thing", so I am busy trying to think of a cute, but more sophisticated room so it's not too theme-y or cutesy. I am thinking the city skyline would make a great backdrop for his acquisitions so far ... I was going to paint anyway and now I'm super inspired! Thanks for sharing.
