kassgood: the light is an under cabinet light that we installed to the bottom side of the shelf above the 'play table'. We have plugged in and on a little switch. It's so convenient and lets you create little spaces out of otherwise dark corners.

I am so saddened to see this happen to the amazingly talented and loving midwives of NY, and having had a beautiful home birth in Brooklyn two years ago I can appreciate the urgency of fixing this whole situation. Women being left in the cold in the middle of their pregnancies and midwives having to deal with this huge setback, financially and emotionally.

I know that if I had #1 in my kitchen, things would be flying of the shelf every time I opened the door. Love the ingenuity of these, though! #4 is great.

I picked up a mirror for a few bucks off of Craigslist. It was painted gold and looking pretty shabby, so I brightened it up with some yellow paint.

I just painted a wall in my living room this color. It shows as both the ceiling and wall color depending on the light. I got my paint from a local paint store in Portland, Or called Do It Best Hardware, but maybe you can have your local store match the color with the number????
