It is also sold in The Netherlands in two stores: Haarlem and Amsterdam. I didn't find it very great...Lots of plastic and no useful products.

A Dutch paintcompany predicted a yellow-ish color for 2011. See some inspiration here:

It isn't the dutch christmas story. We celebrate "Sinterklaas" on december 5th. Sinterklaas (or st. Nicolaas) leaves our country right after december 5th. However, there are a lot of similarities with your Santa.

What about a real tree that isn't disposed after the holidays!? Why not have a real tree that you put outside after the holidays and bring back in next year? Best of both worlds:)

Why take a great design and turn it into another storage solution...I think the whole beauty of the product is the combination with fragile green living things.

We invite people over once in a while so that the whole house gets cleaned. Think of it as a good reason to do these things you normally would postpone. And be extra proud when they ohh and ahh about your house;)

Groundcovers are very essential to your garden, but you'd have to comb them for snails time to time. It is a perfect hiding spot for them.

My parents house was built in late 1600 as a chapel. (The famous painter Frans Hals was married there) Then it was partly destroyed in a storm and was rebuilt as a house.I can't imagine in al that time that nobody has died there. It is even known as "the haunted house". Our family has lived there for two generations, but never experienced any ghost activity. Whe sometimes joke: "hm must be the ghosts", when the door closes suddenly because of draft.

My grandparents have bought their house more than 50 years ago for a real good price, because the previous owners killed themselves in that house (collapse of the stockmarket). It never bothered them, allthough my grandfather was very sensitive to those sort of things.

My point is: it doesen't matter what history your house has, as long as you live happy there.
But the curious people can be a pain in the *. We have had curious people asking questions about our house, even though nothing dramatic has happened. Just because it is old.

Cat's always land on their feet. So why keep them inside? They are animals, not cuddle toys...And as kimg924 said cats are territorial animals, so they have an area they live in and won't leave it.One of our cats dropped from our building one time (three stories) and landed perfectly on his feet. If you live near a busy road, you have to learn your cat to stay clear of it. Make it scared of traffic by shouting at it while cars pass by. The cat shouldn't see you, but the cars, otherwise it wil get scared of you;) It sounds terrible, but really works well.

When you sign your contract as intern it usually says that everything you produce, design or make during that period belongs to the company you signed with...Applies also to full-time jobs... Interns don't just come up with super ideas without the stimulation and creative environment of the company so it is kind of logical.

Cute dog! And a great space!

I think the best thing to do for your pet is just act as if everything is normal.
As soon as you are used to your new home an act as is nothing is different, they will be happy, because they trust you.
However, when you treat the new situation as if it is weird and uncomfortable, your pet will notice it and feel restless.
But in the end everyone knows what is best for their pet and what their pet can handle.

I think a petrol blue would look great with the exposed brick. And fresh with the bed.
