Me, too, love this post and the stories of hiding spots. My cat loves to just find a new spot somewhere and watch me go looking for her, then I spot her, congratulate her on her ingenuity and she purrs like a fire engine. She likes to go under the covers infrequently and when she does I'll make the bed and put pillows on the bed, trying to even out the mysterious lumpy spot, unwittingly, until I hear a meow and an indignant cat jump out.

Most favorite I think are the just washed anything: clothes, sheets, bed spread and any new boxes.

A resounding YES on this new feature! I, too, want to learn more about woodworking in NYC.

It's rather shameful, actually. The chemical is contained in the epoxy coating inside of all tin cans, including dog and cat food. So our animals are regularly ingesting it, even from the "good, natural" pet food companies.

They ain't heavy, they're her friends.

I love it too, and it's actually very similar to an idea I pounced upon just tonight.

How did you do it, Kimberly? Did you glue the blocks up or nail or both? How thick are the cuts of wood? How did they stand up to the moisture of the bathroom (they look like they aged very nicely)? Did you use teak or similar?

As someone who has thought of/is thinking of make-shift wall treatments, this execution is just not good enough. it could still remain humorous even if it's actually done well, like a real decorative painting job.
