I ordered a crib and dresser from their baby and child spin off, and it is over a month late, and my baby is due any day. I had heard from others that their customer service was bad and shipping was overpriced. I didn't listen because I really liked the "french grey" finish of the furniture. This is the only time I have ever ordered from them, and it will be my last.

I don't have furniture from Ikea, but I made white slipcovers for my couch. I have a lazy chihuahua and a baby on the way, and my husband and I are both kind of clumsy. I actually prefer white slipcovers, because I feel like they are the only kind of slipcover you can really get clean no matter what you get on it. You can even bleach out red wine... trust me. If they are dry clean only as nicoxletti I would avoid it, or if you can sew a straight line make your own slipcovers that you can wash. It's actually not that hard. I have some tutorials on my blog.

Ha! People do the same thing with the word antique. I usually do a search of that and it is new replica crap. I also agree with Jose A on the used Ikea junk being sold for more than at the store!

Thorndale, I agree with clickchic. I own three of those Target recycled glass dispensors, and use them in my bathrooms for hand soap and my kitchen for the yellow dish soap. I also have this one in our half bath which I love as well: http://www.target.com/Home-Antique-Glass-Soap-Pump/dp/B001J2BIPO/ref=sc_pd_gwvub_2_title
The pumps on these guys are great too, they are sturdy and work well, I have had all of these for over a year and they are awesome!

I use a 32oz size bottle of Mela Power (www.melaleuca.com/ps) and it lasts me 6 months (64 loads). I only do a few loads of laundry a weekend but you only need 1/2 ounce per load in an HE washer/dryer. There are also no phosphates to polute the water system which is nice. I also like the small bottles because they fit in the small amount of space between my stackable washer and dryer and the wall of the small closet they are in. If anyone is interested or wants more info on these products you can email me. rebmyers@gmail.com Sassydo they also have scent free!

I use Melaleuca products as well. They have been doing the green thing for 20 years, so I think they know what they are doing. And all of their products work better than anything you can find in the stores.
