I thought about using a mesh bumper but then read that any bumper can be used as a foothold for the baby to climb out of the crib. Of course, this won't happen until he/she can pull up to standing. Alternatives to Crib Bumpers Good Questions |

I've been happy with using the moby when my baby was 3 months & the ergo when 9 months (no car seat)...time will tell when she is older. I have never been asked to remove the carrier (As a very active baby, it definitely helped to let her crawl before the flight & time flights so they are around nap time. Oh, and I say don't ask, just bring it (don't stay). We did some of the "oh no, we're fine" when really we should have just accepted anything. Tips for Making a Meal for a New Mom |
