The individual Scavengers can be found on the Shopping channel, in the Local sections and are rounded up daily on Main at 1245 eastern.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all the feedback - it is so good to hear what everyone is thinking. We're still tweaking and optimizing and will continue to make improvements so this info is very helpful.

A few notes at this point:

1. The "everything" feed is coming, but until then, don't fear! "Main" includes most of "everything" already - for one good example, we're not including all of the separate scavenger posts on Main, but are including the Scavenger roundup o Main which links to of all of them. The idea is that Main is a faster moving, concise but fairly complete picture of each day across the channels.

2. A more prominent, easy to access link to The Kitchn from Apartment Therapy and from there back to here is in the works and should be the first requested improvement we make - it's a great idea and is coming very soon!

3. For those of you concerned about the loss of your city on Apartment Therapy, we have moved local off of the top nav bar and to the lefthand nav so we can actually expand our local coverage and add more cities. The ones we were covering before will still be covered (and you'll be able to subscribe to those feeds) but it will be more focused on including only the content that is truly about your city (or the city you are researching for travel or a move).

4. Our tech team is working to get speeds up again - it's been a huge change behind the scenes but were confident that we'll get it all sorted shortly.

5. Finally, I'm going to include the info from my earlier comment above for anyone who missed it:

More info on how the posts and writers from Re-Nest, Ohdeedoh and Unplggd fit into the new design can be found here. We'll be continuing the weekly emails from those sites too, so if you're subscribed (or would like to be!) they'll still come to your inbox each week. Everyone is still on board and you can still see all of the green, kids and tech content in one feed, just like before, if that is your preference, as well as having it in the mix in the new design.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!

We are busy filling up our "local" categories, which you can find on the left sidebar. They are feeds by city and include all six of the cities we covered in the previous design plus some new ones, including international locations. Unlike the previous versions of "local" these can be exclusive to just content that is directly about or from each city, which we're hoping will make them even more enjoyable and useful.

An "everything" feed is also in the works, along with a more direct link to front page of The Kitchn.
