We just returned from a camping trip with our 10 month old. It was great! We used all our pre-baby camping gear. Additionally, we brought a tarp for her to play on. We brought her regular toys, sippy cup and sunscreen. We brought extra wipes for diapers and for general clean up. I have had both generic wall stickers and blik wall decals on the walls in my home. I share your concern with generic wall stickers because they do peel off over time. I have had three different sets of blik, one in my daughter's nursery, and it looks and feels more like paint than a decal. I feel that it is very safe for a child's space. I dont fold the clothes. I lay like pieces on top of each other. That way there is a pile of long sleeve onesies, a pile of short sleeve onesies, a pile of pants, a pile of shirts, etc. the piles stay organized a lot more effectively than folded clothes did. These looks great! I did something similar last night. I wanted to hang ornaments in our small space so I used a tension rod across the windows and hung ornaments from there. It looks very festive and was simple and inexpensive. Small Space Holiday Decor: From the Ceiling |

We were having this debate in our house last night. I am a sustainability manager and my husband is a cinematographer. While I look at lighting as an opportunity to utilize innovative technologies, he looks at it as away to set the mood. This came to a head when we finally bought a nelson bubble lamp and I installed a CFL in it. Well, it didnt last long. We agreed on an eco-dimmer and a traditional bulb (which, admittedly, casts a much more beautiful color light throughout the room.)
