I have always loved the black white checkerboard floors either way...straight OR diagonal. We installed our own recently in our small 10 by 13 kitchen and we went with just the straight layout. The only one I think is interesting is the creamy white....the combination of colors in brown, beige and maroon are really ugly. The turquoise doesn't have enough variation in color tones to be interesting. I would never pay even close to 49.00 a square foot for something like this when there are so many beautiful tiles out there...check out Mosaic Tiles in Rockville Pike (Washington DC) area. I just ordered 140 sf from a seller on ebay who ships free. I have used this product in several homes (kitchens, baths, mostly) over the last 20 years and still love it as much as ever. It is such a fresh look that can be accented so well with bright lively energetic colors like red, turquoise, yellow.
