We have the turtle light, and the stars show up both on our white ceiling and the fairly intense green walls too. I think it'd be ok on dark ceilings!

This is beautiful AND practical, but honestly, if it's 750 Euros, it's waaaay out of our price range whether it's available in the US or not! Too bad too, it's the best I've seen so far!

Ok, you can all shoot me. But I actually think the original bathroom is rather fabulous. No, I probably wouldn't want it in my house either, but I can see it in some crazy photoshoot/commercial. Retro is the new cool you know!

And way to make those countertops work.

I feel like I'm finally coming out of survival mode - chronic illness flare-up and a baby!
I let the dining room table turn into a small mountain. And no vacuuming. And the piles of clothing (clean, but not put away) in the bedroom were rather staggering.

I think coming out of survival mode is another hurdle. I used to have maybe 1 extra thing beyond the basics I'd try to get done in a day, now, I should be able to handle more easily. But my mind isn't used to coping with all the multi-tasking!
I guess the biggest thing is to give yourself a break and let it go. Reminders never hurt ;)
