I would happily cook for any gluten free vegan with allergies. But I dislike cooking for people who only eat boxed meals/take out. It's like cooking for 5 year olds. Perhaps this is because I am the one with dietary requirements? It's still a challenge and a good one at that...

I miss the full cure. I don't have time every day, but I can make blocks of time every week. So sad. i did the 20/20 last time it was on, but I didn't feel the community, or see the same shazam as with the full cure. Will it come back? Please say yes!

In my circles, if I didn't serve coffee and tea, no one would ever go home! In certain cultures, it is rude for guests to leave before tea is served- thus making it rude to not serve the tea the whole night. I would imagine this faux pas would lead to a really amusing story though

It's so sad that we have to be reminded how to behave like kind individuals. I don't understand why some feel entitled to share their concerns or perceptions so freely without an adept editing hand to weed out the cruelty. Seriously? You wanted to call child protective services on a family who houses their children, feeds and cares for them? Geesh, maybe AT/Ohdeedoh readers need to get out more and see the real world.

I made one of these in April. I wanted a whimsical tree to add texture to the wall. The photo is a crappy cellphone picture, but you'll get the idea.

I love my landing strip!

My hubby is a darling, but he is a cute little clutter-bug! A self-processing system just doesn't work for us!

About a year ago, thanks to a previous cure, I put a pretty basket with a nice liner by the bowl for keys to place all the 'stuff' he carries around. It works well for our home because I don't have to look at it, and he knows where to find things like the newspaper or the cool rock he found :)

Weekly, I go through this basket and get rid of the things that aren't needed anymore.

Works for me!

jralph: the bars on the windows are an unfortuante South African evil. I hate my burglar bars, despite have some of the most modern beautiful ones around. But it keeps the baddies out... so the bars are actually a small price to pay.

Seeing these homes make me happy. Not only are they wonderful, but very encouraging too. Perhaps I am not too far gone as the most under loved place in my home (my laundry room) is right on par here. I feel so much less paranoid!

Obviously those negative comments stem from those who have never stepped foot in South Africa. Well Done Heather and Paul- it's a lovely break from the standard South African 'designer' home.
