i love reading their blog because if you leave a comment, they always (in my experience) respond to any question you have in a very helpful and personal manner. i started reading their blog 2 years ago, and it has just been great to see them grow...

i had to laugh that this is a "movement" that someone "invented." Righhhhht. Being mindful and slowing down your life/simplifying is something invented recently by a duo in Austin.

I will put two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen together and I will call it "liquid elixir" - I invented it. And you can drink it, you know? It will be the new movement. We can all drink it- and you can look back and say, "Wow, I read it on Ohdeedoh. I was there when this incredible person in Los Angeles invented it."

these are NOT cute! i like light blocking curtains (i have the pbk kind)- and then we use a white noise maker which drowns out street sounds...

my old apartment building manager was an animal hoarder. really sad and awful. :-(

these makeovers are dramatic- but like others, i wonder how long until they go back to how they were.

that's a big closet! we live in a little beach bungalow where space is a premium. i wanted to start my own jewelry business but all the bedrooms were spoken for- so i made my jewelry shop in the closet (our closet is about 1/2 to 1/3 the size of that closet!) i am loving seeing the ingenious use of small spaces. very nice work!

yes! we just did our bathroom in tiffany blue (a very light shade)- and it is amazing. our bathroom doesn't have any windows- so it can be quite dark b/c it doesn't have natural light- so it was just what we needed to brighten the space. how exciting!

you're practically in my backyard! I have a cute little bungalow in Manhattan Beach. Isn't life here the best?!

i live in los angeles and also rent a house, and also have two young children...so this home is especially inspring to me. it is lovely to see that a rented space can be as good (if not better) than a home that is "owned"- lovely!
