Awesome tip.

Definitely move the bed under the window, change the bedding (and the valance) to something more sophisticated. Keep the red nightstand thing but I would suggest using pops of red throughout the room to tie in the red. You mentioned gray walls but why bother with the walls. Go with gray bedding and few red throw pillows in different shapes and patterns, throw some red knobs on the closet door, paint the mirror frame red, get a big red abstract canvas picture for the wall with the door, line up a few small gray ones in the small space between the window and the closet. If you have floor space after you move the bed, get a nice comfy chair from Ikea or something in gray and throw a red pillow on it.

Great idea. I have my powerstrip sitting on top of my nightstand because it's too short to reach the floor but this is so much more pleasing to the eye. Will be doing this tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.

I work only at my desk because I use a desktop. Although I can use a laptop and have some mobility, I haven't felt the urge to even do that.

Looks like the perfect spot to relax in the evening.
