Mlgarheart and lowbrowlawnparty: Jen has been trying to track down the name of her paint colors for you. The blue paint was a custom mix and is long gone, but a Pantone color that is very close is BRIGHT AQUA, Pantone 16-5422. It may not be clear that many of the furnishings have been in the family for quite some time. The mid-century sofa in the living room was in Carol’s family since the 1950s. The master bedroom furnishings include older pieces and a beautiful mid-century leather chair of Fred’s. They have had the dining set for 20 years! In fact, few of the modern pieces were newly purchased for this home; unfortunately the Resource list did not make that clear. Because of budget cutbacks where I live, the local Goodwill cannot always sent trucks to do pickups anymore. However, the manager did just tell me that they have a deal with Ryder or another truck rental, which gives customers a discounted rate if they are renting trucks to haul donations. Their home feels so warm and friendly. Love the history of the building, too. I was usually trying to sneak by my dorm monitor's apartment; if it had been this nice I might have gone in for a cup of tea or some life coaching! To answer Michelle123's question: Camela attached the skirt with velcro: the adhesive kind on the inside lip under the sink, and the sew-on kind on the skirt. She says it works great!
