I think it's a wonderful idea. Here in Wisconsin dentists have been pushing "Two Cents for Tooth Sense" which would include a two cent tax on soda. Consumers aren't likely to notice two cents and we're proposing that the dollars generated go to increasing the Medicaid reimbursement rate to dentists. It's now about 37 cents on the dollar or so. I have a nightly date with the "Stuff You Should Know" podcast and my dishes.
