Well sketching is really a different things than taking notes. Different apps do them both well. I have Paper, and it looks beautiful and organizes things in an interesting way. But sadly, its is almost useless. The biggest positive for the app... they do watercolors better than any other app. Major cons... you can't zoom in, you can't change the size of the brush, there are only a few colors to choose from.

From paper I tried sketchbook pro, but the results were very digital. The charcoal and paint didn't look like the real thing, not even close. I eventually found Art Rage which is far an away my favorite. The materials are amazing, especially the pencil/charcoal and the oil paint. Especially the oil paint. You can save several paintings in progress, export them, drop the files into drop box. Best of all you can zoom in, change brush size and qualities and pin reference images to look at while you are working. Even to sample colors from. Amazing app.

For note taking.. Noteshelf is the best I've found. It organizes your notes into books on a shelf, similar to paper. You can specify what type of paper or format you would like to take notes in. You can share the books, export them out as PDFs or add them to Evernote. You can type with the keyboard, sketch with a stylus or your finger, Highlight, link, take photos and embed them. Excellent functionality.

Finally an explanation that makes sense! My 3G accessories stopped charging when I got the 4G. No firewire ever. Probably a good example of fact checking that should have been done before this post was published... journalism is tough!

Take a look, its meant to be an iPad, Apple Wireless Keyboard and Wireless trackpad. Not a whole new computer, its a nice holder and a good idea. One problem, aluminum isn't magnetic so the magnets in the design wouldn't do anything to keep the keyboard/trackpad in place.

Or you could go to http://ww.theglif.com and pick up a Kickstarter.com funded tripod adaptor. Just got mine in the mail and its fantastic, plus you are supporting a small business, crowd sources and made in the USA. Plus its only $20

I have the Signum horizontal Cable manager in my home recording studio, best cable management tool ever. I have one plug to the wall from my power conditioner and everything else is hidden and wrapped in the signum.

Agreed again, although it also implies someone who will obtain financial gain from the product although not at a full professional level. Example would be a amateur wedding photographer or home recording studio that you record a band in. In either case, the end user is not expecting full-professional results (or a Grammy) but is willing to pay a reduced rate for reduced experience and equipment. And have semi-pro results.
