I bought a new bed, pillows and sheets. I also moved the bed to a new position and collected everything he ever gave me and put in a duffel bag stuffed way in the back of my closet.

There are space friendly bread machines that make mini loaves for small kitchens. I got one from Craigslist and it's incredibly easy and clean to use. Making sandwiches for brown bag lunches is easier and I take my "experimental" breads to the office for all to sample.

I'm on the fifth floor of a 1926 building. The stairs are a bit steep.

My Grandma's oxtails. She would throw everything into the crockpot and at the end of the day the house would smell like a big, savory meaty stew. She would serve it it with hot grits and collard greens. I miss Grandma, but she did teach me to cook great meals.

So far i've ordered candles, bedding and lamps. They add new items everyday so keep looking. The kind of odd thing is, if you click on an item, it usually comes up with a suggested item that goes with it, that isn't listed with the rest of the stuff. Click on some of their mirrors for example and you'll see what I mean.
