I have a reel mower and actually enjoy using it. Kind of like kariwk said - it is almost relaxing to mow the lawn, at least until I pull out the weed eater. I also have a gas mower that sits in my garage and takes up space so in this case it definately is a matter of preference. The reel is no harder to push than the gas mower unless the grass is really long. It is at least as easy as the gas mower if not easier to push I think. It has an adjustable cutting height which my gas mower did not and I don't have to worry about gas, cords or batteries. Perfectly Powerful Push Mowers | Apartment Therapy DC |

I really like to make my own Tuna Noodle Casserole. A box of pasta, some frozen peas, 1-2 cans of tuna and whatever seasonings you want to add - I'm partial to pepper, chili powder, cummin & cilantro. Make up a quick cheese sauce (shred cheeses of your choice & add to milk over low heat. stir a lot.) and you are in business. Toss it up and bake with some bread crumbs and french onions on top for crunch and its good for multiple meals. You can also substitute cheese sauce with tomato sauce and its now quasi-italian. 10 Tasty Dinners To Serve On The Cheap | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

We always hit up the Goodwill or Salvation Army when looking for cheap furniture while in school. They always had an interesting selection and prices were good. Small, Cheap Couch for My Dorm Room? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

Are there any good guidelines to follow for placement / type of kitchen art? I have a series of prints I would love to hang up in my kitchen but I'm a bit protective of them and don't want to inadvertently ruin them. They are framed / matted and behind glass and would be mounted on the wall opposite everything cooking related so exposure would be minimal I guess. They are some type of ink on high quality paper but for the life of me I can't remember what and I can't find many references to them on the interwebs. I personally haven't shopped with them. Until recently they didn't have weekend hours, however several of the contractors we work with have mentioned them to me. I'm hoping to get some time to head over there this weekend. I am also assuming (o.0) that they are Flor brand tiles. There may be other brands as well. 10 Thrifty Kitchen Finds For Less Than $15 | Apartment Therapy Boston |

There is a place here in Louisville that sells last year's styles and overstock of Flor tiles for $1-$5 / SF. A much better price than the $10 - $30 that Flor charges. They sell directly or you can order online. 10 Thrifty Kitchen Finds For Less Than $15 | Apartment Therapy Boston |

I adore my green kitchen and it isn't even ready to be used yet! Color is Overt Green from SW. It isn't quite as bright and cheery as the ones featured but it is a very comfortable space to be in. Inspiration: Bright Green in the Kitchen | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

assuming it's 24" high - that piece of steell will run anywhere from 60 to 500 lbs per linear foot. 30" deep ranges from 85 to almost 600 lbs per linear foot. it does look pretty fantastic though. I-Beam Side Table | Apartment Therapy Chicago |
