Really did not need, want or had time to decorate or organize after the baby was born. Did not do masters, docotrate or work full time either. Just spend full time with my baby and did what I was able to do. So if you do not have your baby clothes organized by color and size and if your baby's room is not pretty and correctly designed with modern classics, do not worry. Your baby could care less, they only remember and care how much time you spend with him or her.

Love the flower cabinet. The store is great, can not wait to see how they updated it. Unfortunately the fabrics are a lot of money as well as the furniture pieces. Maybe one day:)

I hope they know how to pronounce Eero the finnish way it was intended. People rarely do. Cute room and cute kids.

Bath tubs are great luxury and will be in more upscale homes. Americans with kids still need to learn that yes, you can wash a child without a bathtub. My daughter has taken showers since she knew how to stand. And by the way, less soaking baths, better and softer skin.

Apartment is amazing. The furniture, too much good thing. Scandinavian, not so much. Loved the bar, great idea, very Scandinavian.

There are great things to be found but also beware. Shop around. It is amazing how a same thing can cost hundreds more a couple booths down. I once saw a new boat chandelier $1000.00 more in the other antqiue mall. It was a modern piece. Also once I saw the same ivory chess set in two stores with $500.00 difference. Shop around, there are lot of modern pieces that are pass as antiques. Buyer aware.

You can find great deals on Madeline rugs from ABC carpet warehouse in Bronx. I have seen the one in the photo there and sharply reduced price. The room is quite cute but too matchy matchy for my taste. Looks more like a page in a catalogue but that is a look many well to do parents like for the little kids. They want the room match the house decor.

Sauna is the best. And dip in to a lake.

Love the Trove papers, they are so beautiful and dreamy. When they first came out the people in their booth were so nice and friendly, last time I went to their booth their were really unfriendly and gave an attitude. I guess when you make it you do not have to be nice to the customers. Very nice product though.

Do not use white grout, light taupe, light gray works always the best. Make sure your grout is sealed especially in the wet areas.

Very clean and bright. Nice shower door. Nice that you have a handshower, it is so much more practical. How is the white grout to keep clean. I have seen so many bathroom with "former" white grout, how you keep it clean.

Nice bathroom, very serene. Gray grout is nearly a must. Very rarely you can keep white grout white, no matter what you add in it. Especially on floor, never use white grout.

Very lovely bathroom. Fresh and bright. In NYC area, old bathrooms very rarely have that same charm than the bungalow ones in CA. Ugly yellow colors with mildew and water damage, I have seen these quite a few, not worth saving. The pennytilers who can corner the tiles better might want to buy couple sheets and try themselves and then comment. Workmanship is great. If you live in NYC area you know that even getting your contractor to come back is a strugle so I do have to say this looks great.

Very cute renovation. Teak is very pretty. Good luck with the teak oil. Like the sinkcabinet as well. I like the wall faucet. I wanted to install one but started to think abut the leaks inside the wall so chose something else. How you keep the grout white? Did you use additives with grout? Nice clean look. My bathroom with two kids would not be so clean and white. Do you use the shower daily or is this a second bathroom?

Maybe get nightstands that are the same height than the top of the matress. Also the nightstands should have legs so that they are not block like the bed. Table lamps ( for example those colorful urn ones) much better solution than the hanging above the nightstands. Light color walls, drapery touch darker with a texture or pale pattern (silk, linen and lined to give weight). Get rid of the ceiling fan and buy chandelier. Get rid of the rug. You can get for example sheepskins on both sides of the bed or if you want a rug, something softer. Above the bed get a more upright piece of real art ( the copy is too long and narror)0 makes the ceiling low), or maybe a round sunburst mirror or similar. Right now your tall nightstands and the long art above the bed makes the ceiling feel low. Lower nightstands (lighter color) and round or upright, smaller art above the bed makes the room feel larger and higher. Good luck!

Love the furniture, but most likely if you live in a small space you can not afford to buy the architect-designed classics.
