Love all of your colors!!!

We keep magazines in our bathroom. Once they're in there, that's where they stay. You use one while doing your business, then you place it back into its holder and wash your hands like usual. You do wash your hands after you use the restroom, don't you? You're already touching germs in the bathroom, regardless whether you're handling magazines or not.

Books by color look great, but it's not practical. When you read a lot of books (and loan them out on a frequent basis) like we do, it's a pain to constantly rearrange the empty spaces. I try to keep them organized by book size/spine height, but by color is crazy for someone who actually reads and uses their literature collection :)

I never, ever considered painting a wall green until we put Valspar's 'Jalapeno Jelly' in our bedroom. That was 3 years ago and it's still gorgeously in vogue!

My in-laws just purchased a place by Lake Michigan and I'm decorating our hangout as modern & airy as possible. Country kitsch and beachy cliches can be reserved for those without imagination!

Excellent! I recently picked up two wooden vintage folding chairs with the intention of sprucing them up. This is perfect!

Amazing! Love the dark flooring and walls!!! The accessories are perfect. I have that shower curtain - it's super chic and still lets in a ton of light (it looks like you have a window in your shower like I do)!

jac - GREAT idea hanging the curtains from the ceiling! Honestly never thought of that.

Since you enter our place through the kitchen, we don't have room for a table. Instead we have an Ikea 'murphy table' in the living room that folds open to seat four, and remains closed on a normal day. Big space saver!
