So funny, I was just battling my microwave last night. It also sits in a corner. I moved it all around and then ended up putting it right back where it was.

I think I'm going to exchange my oversized microwave for a more compact one that's designed to fit in a corner. That way I'll still have it around (I do love leftovers and the convenience of frozen veggies) but it will give me a bit more space.

Here's the corner one I found from Whirlpool.

I make them in the same method that's outlined in the linked article - and use mostly milk for the liquid (sometimes a mixture of milk and stock). The biggest difference is I use WAY more liquid than recommended in that recipe. I basically start out with that's listed, and then keep adding more bit by bit and letting it absorb until I get to the texture I like (which is super creamy with lots of cheese).

I've used mine to make raviolis or beggars purses that were really good. Process the pork with some goat cheese and balsamic in a food processor to make it really finely chopped. If you don't want to make pasta, use wonton sheets to make the raviolis.

I currently have some prints hanging in my office (all prints of typewriters) that are displayed on vintage clip boards. I thought it was something fun and casual with an office theme.

I know it wasn't a duplex-type property... but I think the person who mentioned bungalows having multiple entrances was probably spot on - the house next door has 2 doors (one that leads into the bedroom).

I love the idea of doing some kind of vertical succulent garden. Or possibly a combo of succulents and artifacts... maybe some things incorporating both like found object planters... guess I need to go treasure hunting!

PS - The house is located in the Atlanta area.

Homeowner here.

Thanks for the ideas, everyone! I hadn't thought about that being a door in a previous life - but it makes sense. We're pretty sure that it was a screened in room/porch at one point - it had indoor/outdoor carpet when we bought it and many other houses on our street have screened front porches.

This is more of a snack or starter, but for brunch last weekend I did slices of cucumber topped with a little scoop of cream cheese and a little pieces of smoked salmon. I made them ahead of time and then just chilled them in the fridge covered in plastic.

They were really easy but seemed fancy.

However, with the salmon, you wouldn't want to make them a whole week in advance.

Today? I thought it wasn't out until March 14? (Yes I literally have it on my calendar). Can anyone confirm?
